Live your Best Life for Carnivale Parade 2023
Port Douglas’ iconic Carnivale will kicks off for 2023 with the ever popular Parade down Macrossan Street. Floats, walkers, dancers, jugglers, acrobats and performers of all kinds are invited to take part in the annual community event. The parade, which will take place on Friday May 19, 2023 will be presented in partnership with the Property Shop Port Douglas & Mossman.

New Development Threatens the Daintree Rainforest
FNQ environmental activist body, the Douglas Shire Sustainability Group (DSSG), has raised community concerns about a major development project currently underway on the Daintree Coast. The Daintree Coast is once again under threat: the threat of commercialisation and over-development resulting from the construction of a power grid.
